Supporting Families. Strengthening Community.

We were created to support Congolese and African families in London who needed more than information — they needed understanding.
Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming. We exist to walk alongside families with practical support, cultural awareness, and genuine care.

Les Amis de Bercy was created from lived experience within our community.
We saw how families often needed support that felt familiar — guidance that understood both the systems around them and the cultural values that shape their lives.
We also saw the strength of our community: showing up for one another in times of need, celebrating together, contributing together, and standing together.
Les Amis de Bercy brings that spirit into a structured, accessible space for support.

To provide practical, culturally grounded support that strengthens families and builds confidence within our community.

A connected and empowered community where families feel supported, respected, and able to thrive.

We are community-led and culturally rooted.
Our approach is built on trust, lived experience, and shared understanding. We don’t replace services — we help families navigate them with clarity and confidence.
Les Amis de Bercy was born from lived experience within our own community.
We have seen the strength families carry — and the barriers they quietly face.
This organisation exists because no one should have to navigate change alone.
Our hope is simple:
That every family feels informed, supported, and never alone.
